The Innokin Zlide 4ml MTL Tank
is a collaboration between two famous vapers, Phil Busardo and Dimitris Agrafiotis (The VapinGreek), and Innokin.
Their goal was to create an easy and intuitive Mouth-to-lung (MTL) Tank for either the experienced vaper or the new user who wants a no-fuss system. The 4ml Zlide Tank builds upon the previous model, the Innokin Zenith, with new user requested improvements and changes. The riser has been removed so a wide variety of drip tips will now match the Zlide tank. The Zlide also now features a replaceable glass section. The Zlide is compatible with the original Zenith atomizer heads along with a new Z-PLEX3D mesh coil atomizer head for incredible flavour and vapour production. The new next generation Z-PLEX3D mesh coil features increased warmth, coil life, and even more flavour.
The Zlide MTL tank replicates the restricted inhale smokers get from a cigarette, producing a similar effect and amount of vapour. It features a large 4ml tank, which is among the largest e-liquid capacities for mouth-to-lung tanks.
This is a versatile tank that can pretty much fit on most mods in the vape market with its 24mm diameter. This tank easily fills from the top by sliding the top cap that can also be child-proof.
What Makes This Tank Child-Proof?
The drip tip (mouth piece) that is installed on the tank when you receive it actually helps make the tank child-proof. By designing the drip tip to be slightly longer than usual, it then stops the top cap/lid from sliding open and accidentally gaining access to the tank’s e-liquid.
If you don’t like this option since it means you must remove the mouth piece when you need to re-fill the tank, don’t worry! Innokin has kindly included a spare drip tip in the kit that is not built this way so you can choose what works best with your vape style.
Mouth To Lung Style
This tank is made for mouth-to-lung (MTL) vaping which is similar to a cigarette-style draw; tight, restricted and vapour is held in the mouth briefly before being inhaled to the lungs. Every aspect of this tank helps you achieve the MTL vape goodness that you’re looking for. The Zlide MTL features include:
- a narrow drip tip to further concentrate the vapour for a tighter draw
- limited adjustable airflow that has no ‘fully open’ airflow option
- being compatible with coils that require low wattage.
The Zlide tank is compatible with Innokin Zenith Z-Coils that are all under 20W so all you are really choosing between with them is whether you like warmer and cooler vapour production from your e-cigarette. Also available are Z-Plex3D Mesh coils which are known for producing massive clouds and optimal vapour flavour.

USAGE WARNING
1- You must prime your coil prior to use to ensure you do not burn the cotton in the coil. This means the cotton around the coil must be fully saturated before vaping.
2- Place a few drops of e-liquid directly into the cotton wicks around the coil. Fill the tank and stand it upright for at least 10 minutes (longer in cooler temperatures). A quicker way to prime it is to draw through the tank without firing, a few times.
