Keep safe and add some style to your batteries at the same time! If the external wrapping is torn (battery cells themselves are not coloured, they are metal) or showing the cell underneath, it’s time to rewrap your battery.
A battery wrapping is there as a safety precaution – should a battery’s positive pin and the battery’s edge ever touch metal simultaneously, a spark may occur. At worst, this means it could potentially cause a fire or even an explosion. In the interest of your own safety, and that of your device, it’s important to make sure your battery wrap is in tact.
Insulator not included. You will need to use your current insulator once you remove the old wrap.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE ANY METALIC OBJECTS TO REWRAP YOUR BATTERIES.
